A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in NYC.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Urgent Care
- Patient Population: All ages (mainly adults)
- Hours: Weekday 8a-8p, Weekends 830a-630p
- Schedule: 3-8 shifts per month
Responsibilities:
The Urgent Care NP / PA will:
- Perform assessment and interventions for each patient
- Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies
- Follow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents transferring to hospitals / clinics / outpatient visits
- Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines
- Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an Urgent Care role/setting
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
- Board Certification
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
