Advanced Practitioner _ Urgent Care _ Enfield, CT (Permanent)

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be part of a dedicated team, working in a fast-paced environment focused on patient care, culture, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, including history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Order and interpret laboratory and radiologic tests as needed.
Develop evidence-based care plans and prescribe medications in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
Perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, splinting, suturing, wound care, and emergency procedures.
Stabilize patients with high acuity conditions and arrange for transport when necessary.
Document all patient visits accurately and code for appropriate billing.
Key Knowledge Areas:
Manage a wide range of urgent care presentations including chest pain, allergic reactions, fractures, infections, and abdominal pain.
Perform clinical procedures including abscess drainage, suturing, splint application, and more.
Qualifications:
Must hold a current State Medical License, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA Registration.
Certified as an Advanced Practitioner by a national organization.
ACLS, PALS, and NRCME certifications required.
