NP/PA Urgent Care opening in Northern California Location: Susanville, CA 100 miles to Reno, NV Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 DOE Bonuses: Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 (paid over 5 years), $5,000 Relocation Allowance Job Overview: We are actively recruiting a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established outpatient primary care practice in northern California. This is a strictly outpatient setting with no night shifts, and our Urgent Care is open on Saturdays. The typical patient volume ranges from 13-16 patients per 8-hour shift or 20 patients in a 10-hour shift. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a family-friendly environment and see patients of all age groups. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care for chronic and acute illnesses, injuries, and minor conditions. Prescribe medications, perform lab tests, and manage office procedures within the scope of expertise. Conduct physical exams, including pap tests and other routine examinations. Offer referrals to physicians as needed and make house calls when necessary. Plan, direct, and evaluate healthcare services for residents and employees in an ambulatory setting. Coordinate health promotional activities and conduct support groups on health-related topics. Maintain patient records, compile statistics, and conduct research as needed. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement care plans for patients. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (option for 4x10-hour shifts). No night shifts; Urgent Care open on Saturdays. Qualifications: Current California License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in primary care or outpatient settings is preferred. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
