Job Description

Last Update: 9/05/24

Independently owned family practice seeks an experienced Urgent Care clinician to join their group. Their urgent care providers typically work four days a week, 10-6; however, they can be flexible, the more you want to work, the more they’d pay you to do so. They do a really good job of taking care of their providers. They are not understaffed, and provide high quality, evidence-based medicine.

This role would be to assist the PCPs with overflow "same day" needs. It is a lot of "breakthrough" primary care plus "UTIs and pink eye" as they like to say. They take care of infants to the elderly, so clinicians would need to be comfortable seeing sick kids in addition to adults.

They have onsite x-ray and lab, and you'll have access to all of the patients' medical records, unlike a "real" urgent care, where you have no idea what will walk in the door. All of their appointments are scheduled in advance (same day for you – no walk-ins!). You would be expected to see patients in 20 minute appointment blocks.
