Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a civilian Nurse Practitioner (PRN) for our Urgent Care at the Dumfries Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia to support active duty, qualifying veterans and their dependents. Scheduling

  • Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on Saturday.

Aspects of the UCC

  • 2-3 patients per hour
  • Extension of the ED at Ft. Belvoir
  • If a patient is presented that exceeds the scope that can be seen in the clinic, patient is transferred to the nearest ED
  • BLS only facility-No crash carts
  • Will not typically see overflow from our primary clinics
  • Support staff (Nursing & MA)
  • Stable culture with Senior Physician & Nursing leadership

Job Requirements:

  • All active State licenses accepted
  • At least 2 year of experience working in Urgent Care / ER
  • Active BLS certifications
  • Active DEA registration
