Job Responsibilities:
- Join a comprehensive Wound Care Program
- Treat wound care patients including obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; assisting at surgery; offering counseling and education to meet patient needs; making appropriate referrals
- General supervision and oversight of Physician Assistants
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years work experience required
- 1+ year wound care experience preferred
- Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
NCCPA certified - Wound Care or Burn experience strongly preferred
- Wound Care Certification preferred
- Hyperbaric Certification preferred
