Job Responsibilities:

• Join a comprehensive Wound Care Program
• Treat wound care patients including obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; assisting at surgery; offering counseling and education to meet patient needs; making appropriate referrals
• General supervision and oversight of Physician Assistants
  

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years work experience required
• 1+ year wound care experience preferred
• Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
  NCCPA certified
• Wound Care or Burn experience strongly preferred
• Wound Care Certification preferred
• Hyperbaric Certification preferred
