The Hospital:
McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is a 113-bed community hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. The Medical Center completed a $115 million expansion and renovation project in 2017. With Level III Trauma Center accreditation, the emergency department maintains a 30-minutes-or-less service pledge. McKenzie-Willamette offers comprehensive services through McKenzie Heart, Lung and Vascular Center including cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Key hospital services are obstetrics, general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, radiology, rehabilitation, robotic surgery, telemedicine, and wound care. We serve over 383,000 people in Lane County and support outlying communities from the Cascade mountains to the coast, and south to Douglas and Coos Counties. McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is owned in part by physicians.

-McKenzie Heart Group - Reputation for Quality and Service Excellence.
-Recognized as an STS 3-Star for the CABG Program.
-Schedule: 2 Afternoons of Clinic per week - remainder is OR and IP Management.
-Group consistently performs 130-150 Cardiac & 40+ Thoracic cases annually with excellent outcomes (practice consistently growing cases annually).
-Structural Heart Team has also performed 100+ TAVRs.

Qualifications
-Vein Harvest experience required (Maquet / Terumo) - will consider other systems as well.
-1st Assist Cardiac Surgery and Thoracic Surgery including VATS and Thoracotomies - mentorship available if desired.
-Pre-op evaluation of patients and prep for surgery.
-Post-op Inpatient Management of patients in CVICU and Telemetry floor.
-Post-op Outpatient Evaluations of patients at follow-up appointments.
-PA or NP License with First Assist Certification or ability to obtain.
-Board Certified PA/NP.
