Aya Locums has an immediate opening for the following position: Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery APP in Charleston, WV $115.00/hr to $135.00 /hr

Start Date: ASAP as soon as credentialed (90 days)

Contract Length: Ongoing

Shift Details: 8a-5p Monday – Friday

Work Details:

• Support staff: RNs , surgeons, midlevel’s

• Amount of coverage needed per month: 1 FTE every Monday – Friday

• Patients per day: 15-20

• Patient population/age: 18 and up

• Department Description: cardiothoracic surgery – in clinic area

• • Chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care and documentation, wet to dry dressings, stitch, and staple removals.

• EMR: CERNER

• Special procedures: chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care and documentation, wet to dry dressings, stitch and staple removals.

• Certifications: • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (Required)

• Skills required: critical care experience – 2 years

Practice Setting:

• Heart and Vascular Center at CAMC

Requirements:

• Board Certification: NP or PA

• License required: WV

• DEA: yes

• CSR: YES

• Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
