A health services organization in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Surgical team at one of their facilities in Niagara County. In this role, the Surgical NP / PA will be responsible for providing healthcare services to patients, encompassing health promotion, cancer prevention, acute and chronic illness care, and education and counseling for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and psychological status through interviews, health histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic studies
- Conduct patient examinations and collect physical condition information
- Order medical equipment, supplies, and various diagnostic tests (e.g., lab tests, X-rays, CT scans)
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with Physicians, including disease diagnosis and appropriate care plans
- Provide patient care, including administering injections, immunizations, wound care, and prescribing medications and therapies under supervision
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Surgical experience
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- BLS certification:
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of GI, GU, Breast, or Thoracic
