Hospital is looking for TWO NP/PAs to help with their URGENT Neurosurgery need!

Job Description:

• Dates of coverage 11/10 and end is 2/10
• Coverage needed while they recruit for perm providers.
• Inpatient, hospital-based setting with responsibilities for rounding, consults, and postoperative care
• No OR/First Assist or procedural work required
• Must have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, neurosurgical elective procedures, and postoperative management
• Hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., in-house coverag
• Weekend coverage once every 4 weeks
• EMR system used: eCare/Cerner
• Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designation
• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work autonomously
• Supervising physician available off-site, on-call 24/7
• No new graduates will be accepted
• Procedures required: simple suture for minor laceration repair
• Patient demographics range from ages 0 to 99

Active MI license - REQUIRED

Clean Background- REQUIRED

BLS, ENLS, NIHSS - REQUIRED

MI addressed DEA (Verbal Confirmation) - REQUIRED
