Job Description:

An established neurosurgery practice in the Norwalk, CT area is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a renowned surgeon in a role with a mix of operating room and clinic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon
  • Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of patients.
  • Collaborate closely with the neurosurgeon and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct patient consultations and follow-up visits in the clinic setting.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Connecticut.
  • Surgical experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in surgery and a willingness to learn will be considered.
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
