An established neurosurgery practice in the Norwalk, CT area is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a renowned surgeon in a role with a mix of operating room and clinic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of patients.
- Collaborate closely with the neurosurgeon and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct patient consultations and follow-up visits in the clinic setting.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures.
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Connecticut.
- Surgical experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in surgery and a willingness to learn will be considered.
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
