A hospital system in Orange County is currently seeking a licensed Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) with robotics experience for a great opportunity with their team. In this role, the Surgical PA will be responsible for providing surgical assistance to a broad variety of surgeons, including General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Urology.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Surgical PA
- Schedule: 4 days/week; no nights, weekends, or call
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
The Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for:
- Initiating surgery consults
- Assisting in surgical procedures
- Performing inpatient hospital rounding as per provided schedule
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- New York State Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA)
