Providence Medical Institute is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant in Thoracic Surgery to join the team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new thoracic surgery program at PSJMC while working with a very supportive supervising physician who enjoys teaching and training in robotic surgery. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills or be an enthusiastic new graduate with a keen interest in thoracic surgery. The role will involve a mix of OR, clinic, and inpatient work, with one weekend per month on call, plus additional call duties (mostly home call, with rare hospital returns) and additional pay for weekends. Candidates must be licensed in California or have a license in process after boards, as this is an immediate hire. This is a unique opportunity to grow and develop in a new, cutting-edge program with hands-on training and mentorship.

• Monday to Friday schedule with some weekend call
• Mix of clinic, OR and inpatient
• Compensation is between $166,774 and $228,784 per year
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above
