Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA or ACNP) Total Joint | Tucson, AZ

Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Orthopedic Total Joints Surgery team. This provider will play a key role in first-assisting in the operating room for surgical patients while also managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Details & Qualifications:

• First-assist in the operating room for total joint surgical cases
• Provide perioperative care including pre- and post-operative management
• Assist with rounding, consults, and follow-ups on orthopedic patients
• Work primarily Monday through Friday, with some minor group coverage, which may include taking call and rounding
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4 Total Joint Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• Current, unrestricted Arizona PA or ACNP license
• Prescriptive authority including a DEA license for controlled substances
• CPR & BLS certification required
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in a surgical specialty preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Work Schedule:

Full-Time | Monday – Friday

• Banner University Medical Center Tucson – Main Campus
• Banner University Medical Center Tucson – South Campus
• Outpatient Clinics at 1555 E. River Rd. Suite 125, Tucson, AZ
