. The position involves supporting the surgical team in delivering exceptional patient care, with the opportunity to work in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, or ENT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support: Assist in various surgeries, including orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and ENT procedures.
  • Procedures: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Room Setup & Turnover: Assist in operating room setup and cleanup.
  • Surgical Assistance: Collaborate with the operative team and assist as directed by OR manager and charge nurses.
  • Sterile Techniques: Ensure proper sterile techniques are maintained at all times in surgery.
  • Communication: Maintain effective verbal and written communication with patients, families, healthcare staff, and other departments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods; lift up to 75 pounds; assist patients with mobility and transfers; and use proper body mechanics.

Qualifications:

  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics.
  • Required Certifications:
    • Board Certified PA.
    • Oregon state license.
  • Required Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work productively with others.

Shift Options:

  • Four 10-hour shifts or Five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements specified.
