The new “Boutique” hospital, which has all private rooms and room service, opened in 2013. It serves the local community's healthcare needs and the broader northern New Jersey region. Position Highlights:

  • Team: Join a dedicated team of Surgeons with strong support staff
  • Services: Our Surgery team provides minimally invasive surgical procedures using the latest technology in various specialties, including general surgery, urology, and orthopedic surgery. The Operating Room is equipped with advanced technology, featuring 5 general operating rooms, 3 GI lab rooms, and 1 pain procedure room, all with 55" monitors. Each room is equipped with 4 monitors, allowing surgeons to view multiple images simultaneously. The role involves in-house coverage for patient floors, rounding with surgeons, performing consultations, and assisting in the ER with bedside procedures.
  • Location: Pascack Valley Medical Center, Westwood, NJ.
  • Affiliation: Part of the Hackensack Meridian Health network.
  • Schedule: Surgical procedures begin at 7:30 AM, with 12-hour shifts.

Position Requirement:

  • Board Certification: Candidates should be board-certified Physician Assistant
  • Medical Licensure: A valid medical license to practice in New Jersey, CDS, and DEA is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Required
