Elective General Surgery APP opening in Norwich, Connecticut 40 miles from Hartford; 50 miles from Providence, RI Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join General Surgery team.
  • The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for a wide variety of surgical patients encompassing numerous subspecialties including elective general surgery, colorectal, bariatrics, vascular, thoracic and neurosurgery.
  • This APP-led team is involved in all aspects of surgical care such as managing surgical inpatients, admissions and consultations, operative first-assist, and bedside procedures.
  • Inpatient practice setting
  • Schedule: Full-time, three 12-13 hour shifts/week, rotating.
  • Call schedule: No call
  • Experience: Preferred: 2+ years of inpatient surgery experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
