Director of Advanced Practice Provider, Surgery
Outstanding opportunity to join our well-established team in a hospital employed setting. The Director of Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for developing and maintaining Valley Health System policies, procedures and practices with regard to all advance practice nurses, physician assistants and other advance practice clinicians.
The Director is responsible for advancing quality, safety and patient experience and would involve leading VHS in the development of standard work regarding onboarding and training, bylaws and medical staff affairs, regulatory compliance and compensation issues for employed APP’s and supporting VHS medical staffs and trustees in ensuring competence and compliance of independently practicing APPs.
This is considered a full time role and the candidate would allocate 60% of their time toward clinical practice and 40% of their time to administrative duties and would report to the Chief Operating Officer of Valley Health’s Medical Group. Clinical experience preferred with preference for surgical background.
