**Position Info**
- Full-time, permanent
- Seeking a Surgical 1st Assist Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner skilled in endoscopic vein harvesting to join a Heart & Vascular Center team in beautiful Topeka, KS. Medical center is known for its outstanding cardiology program, which includes invasive, invasive-interventional, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic / cardiovascular surgery.  The cath lab volume has doubled in the last two years due to growth in cardiology practice and investing millions of dollars in additional cath lab technology-leading to additional surgical volume.   
- Coordinates care in inpatient and acute/chronic ambulatory patient settings
- 1st, Assist CT/Vascular Surgeons in the operating room and clinic settings
- Independent and interdependent work with physicians
- Call Rotation   
- EMR: Epic
 
Minimum Requirements:
- CT or Cardiac Surgery experience
- Vein Harvesting experience
- Surgical 1st Assist Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
