Seeking a Locums Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant in Robbinsdale, MN. The Primarily function as a trauma hospitalist rounder with the possibility of intermittent ED consults, trauma activations, and performing procedures. Surgical and trauma critical care experience is preferred for specific needs. No call required; in-house coverage only. You will round on approximately 10-14 admitted patients if they are in the non-ICU unit, and about 6 patients if they are in the ICU. Admitting/ED admissions can vary between 2 to 15 per 24 hours. You will be expected to respond to ED trauma alerts, facilitate discharges, handle ER admissions, and conduct daily rounding and management of all conditions. Hospitalists are not utilized, so you must be fully capable of attending to all patient conditions.
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
- Board Certified
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
