Work Details:

• Patients per day: OR usually 7-8 patients
• Department Description: First assist in OR. No rounds or call responsibilities. The APP will be seeing all NEW patients in the clinic before the surgeon and will be helping with pre-operative visits as well. This position will be working with Dr. Ravi Bashyal in his clinics (two days per week in Glenbrook and Skokie) and in the OR on Mondays and Wednesdays. Dr. Bashyal is an Adult Reconstruction surgeon specializing in Hip & Knee replacements.
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills Preferred: Surgical PA preferably with Orthopedic experience in the OR and seeing patients in the clinic. Experience in Adult Reconstruction is a major benefit. Prefer candidates with Hip & Knee replacement experience.
