**Requirements:**_x000D_
_x000D_
- Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification._x000D_
- Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred._x000D_
- Position-specific knowledge and skills required:_x000D_
- Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy_x000D_
- Management of ventilators and critically ill patients_x000D_
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications_x000D_
- Efficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubes_x000D_
- Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA required._x000D_
