Physician Assistant - CT Surgery Opening in Mason City, Iowa Located in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa - 80 miles from Waterloo, IA *Compensation: 150K - 189K* Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • 1-2 years experience in CT Surgery assist w/ >50 endoscopic vein harvests using the maquet system
  • Mix of inpatient/oupatient clinic & surgery
  • Join 1 Physician and 2 PAs - Looking to add experienced PA for work/life balance
  • Call 1:3, Call is currently for emergency surgeries only (1-3 times/year)
  • 14-county referral base with 250,000 population draw area.
  • Local hospital has physician staffed ED & hospitalist services.
  • The physicians and staff are committed to providing patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of cardiovascular disease and the promotion of good health.
  • Regional referral area with full depth of medical specialty services available. Medical educational teaching opportunities through multiple programs including cardiology fellowship program. Hospital has fully staffed ED and hospitalist programs.
