We are seeking an experienced APRN or PA to provide vein harvesting and first assist support for the Cardiothoracic Surgery team. This is a locum tenens position with a rotating schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off. Need a locum for coverage for APRN/PA for vein harvesting & 1st assist for CT Surgery. Must have 2 years experience. Active NV license. Preferred drive in candidates

Job Responsibilities

Perform vein harvesting for cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
Act as a first assist in CT surgeries.
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols.

Qualifications

Active Nevada State License or IMLC eligibility.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
Board status: Not required.
Flu and COVID vaccinations are required (medical or religious exemptions accepted).

Working Hours

Two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
Candidates who are local or within driving distance are preferred.

Skills

Expertise in vein harvesting.
Strong first assist skills in cardiothoracic surgery.
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
