Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery – Western Oregon

Location: Springfield, OR (100 miles from Portland)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed

Opportunity:
Join an esteemed Heart Group with an STS 3-Star CABG Program rating. This growing practice focuses on Cardiac, Thoracic, and TAVR cases, supported by a modern facility with 16 exam rooms and Cardiopulmonary Rehab services. Work alongside one surgeon and a PA, with plans to expand the team.

Role Highlights:

  • Schedule: 2 clinic days/week, rest in OR and inpatient management.
  • Surgical 1st Assist (including VATS/Thoracotomies) and Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
  • Pre-op evaluations, inpatient CVICU/Telemetry management, and post-op care.

Requirements:

  • Certified PA/NP with Vein Harvesting and Surgical 1st Assist experience.
  • Proficient in pre/post-op care, inpatient management, and vein harvesting.
