JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital in the Myrtle Beach area is seeking a skilled CT PA with EVH experience to join another in assisting their 3 cardiothoracic surgeons. Competitive compensation along with comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package offered.
Qualified Candidates:
- 2 or more years’ experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
- Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
- Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
- Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
- APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
- Expected call schedule of 1:3
HOSPITAL:
- ACS verified Level I adult trauma center
- DHEC approved Level II pediatric trauma center
- 4 emergency departments
- DNV-GL certified comprehensive stroke center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI
- Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health unit
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Maternity center with Level II neonatal nursery and maternal fetal medicine for high-risk moms
