We are hiring a Travel, travel to perm, or perm experienced cardiothoracic RNFA / Surgical Assistant in Beautiful Nashville, Tennessee!
We are hiring experienced first assistants who can assist in a busy cardiac surgery program! We will consider RNFA and Surgical Assistant's for contract /locum or permanent positions!
The program consist of a 7 room CVOR. 5 rooms are dedicated towards open cases and 2 of them are hybrid rooms that we share with vascular and invasive cardiology. Our surgeons do coronary bypass grafts (CABGs), aortic, mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonic valve replacements/repairs, dissections, bentalls, Imella placements/removals, ECMO placements/removals, Pericardial Windows, Sternal I&Ds and occasionally our surgeons will place a trach or peg tube.
Our heart program averages 1100-1300 cases annually. The team assigned to each room consists of a registered nurse, a first assistant, a scrub tech, and a second assistant. Each team member works Monday-Friday from 0630-1500 with 1-2 weekends of call in a 6 week schedule. There is a dedicated call team in place that takes call from 1700-0630 Sunday-Thursday.
We are interested in permanent and contract labor. Contracts can be 6 months to get started!!
