Growing cardiac surgery department in Hartford, CT is hiring an operating room Physician Assistant to join their busy team. Under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon, the physician assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties including: first assisting cardiovascular surgical procedures, EVH, preoperative history, postoperative care in an outpatient clinical setting and ongoing patient education.

Schedule:
Weekday with some call and weekends

Qualifications

Physician Assistant Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in cardiovascular surgery preferred
• Ability to obtain a Connecticut license
• First assistant experience, including endoscopic vein harvesting skills preferred
