Highly successful radiology practice in the Atlanta, Georgia area is searching for an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team! Candidates must have experience as a PA or NP in interventional radiology or another related field to be considered for this position, and must have at least 1-2 years of experience performing IR-related procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
  • Flexible schedule - 4 or 5 days per week with daytime hours
  • No weekends, no evenings, no call, no holidays
  • Collaborate with a fantastic team of PA providers and board-certified radiologists
  • Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
  • Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
  • Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
  • Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Georgia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional clinical and procedural skills
  • Proficient with EMR systems
