Growing radiology practice in the Lakeland, Florida area is seeking an experienced physician assistant to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, however candidates with experience in surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, etc. are also strongly encouraged to apply. Enjoy a stable Monday-Friday schedule and work with a tight-knit team of providers who are very willing to train!

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday schedule
• 8 AM to 5 PM
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Perform breast and thyroid biopsies, post-biopsy dressing, wound care, and patient emergency situations
• Perform additional procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC lines, etc.
• Supervise and interpret DEXA scans for osteoporosis
• Take an active role in patient and family education, communication between referring physicians and patient families
  

Qualifications:

• Florida Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience performing hands-on procedures
