A leading healthcare system in South Carolina is seeking a Pulmonary Medicine Physician Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive pulmonary care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


Position Highlights:

  • Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient consult support
  • Monday-Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM, Friday: 8 AM - 12 PM
  • 36 patient contact hours, 4 admin hours per week
  • Call schedule: 1:5 rotation
  • Work alongside 4 experienced pulmonologists, a dedicated nurse, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
  • Average patient volume: 18-25 per day
  • Common conditions treated: COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, lung infections, interstitial lung disease
  • Procedures include: Pulmonary function tests (PFTs), oxygen therapy evaluations, CPAP/BiPAP management, and more
  • Cerner EMR
