Highly successful neurosurgery program in Denver, Colorado is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner for a brand new Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) opportunity!

Be part of a group with outstanding APP culture and an excellent track record of training and retaining PAs and NPs. This is an incredible opportunity in one of the most popular cities in the country!

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in PM&R, pain medicine, neurosurgery, orthopedics, or another relevant field as a PA or NP. However, the group is also very willing to train candidates with strong ties to the Denver area and a specific interest in PM&R and the neurosurgery field.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time permanent position - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, PM&R, Neurosurgery
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • No nights, no weekends, no on-call requirements
  • 100% outpatient position (no inpatient duties)
  • Work one-on-one with a fellowship-trained PM&R physician
  • Cover a wide range of spine and joint disorders, including spinal stenosis, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, nerve damage, and back and neck pain
  • Non-surgical treatment of pain through ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided spine injections and joint injections, nerve blocks, nerve ablations, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, and spinal cord stimulator trials
  • Electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) for the purpose of diagnosing nerve damage

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in PM&R, pain management, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, or other relevant specialties
  • Ability to obtain Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • DEA License
  • BLS/ACLS
