Job Title: Pediatric NP/PA/RN - Lewes, DE

Department: Pediatrics

Reports to: Pediatrician/Medical Director

Shift: Monday to Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm)

Setting: Outpatient

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric NP/PA/RN - Lewes, DE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments of pediatric patients, including physical exams, medical histories, and developmental screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions such as respiratory illnesses, infections, allergies, and chronic conditions.
  • Provide patient education to families regarding health maintenance, nutrition, immunizations, and illness prevention.
  • Administer vaccinations, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret lab results.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide follow-up care and support for chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and developmental disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on managing common childhood health concerns, medication administration, and treatment options.
  • Ensure a compassionate and patient-centered environment for children and families.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to stay current with pediatric care advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master's degree in Nursing, certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), and current state licensure.
  • Physician Assistant (PA): Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and current state licensure.
  • Registered Nurse (RN): Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, with pediatric nursing experience.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required (for RN, NP, PA).
  • Experience in pediatric care and a passion for working with children is highly preferred.
