Job Responsibilities

Job description: Responsibilities include admitting patients from the Pediatric ED, rounding on patients in the PICU, attending trauma alerts in the Pediatric ED, consulting with the pediatric subspecialists, and educating nurses, APPs, medical students and residents. The 12-bed PICU at Lakeland Regional Health has all private rooms with family friendly amenities.  Company providers have access to more than 13 pediatric subspecialties on site as well as remote access to all the Company subspecialties located in Orlando.

Qualifications

Required:

Must be a current Certified Physician Assistant or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED (8/26 updated) (PNP-PC or PNP-AC). Current BLS certificate upon hire.

Working Hours

Schedule:3 12 hour shifts 7p-7a including weekends and holidays. This leaves 4 hours for administrative duties.
