JOB DESCRIPTION:
Children’s hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their regional newborn hospitalist team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide inpatient pediatric care at 3 hospitals locations. Physician Assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience. Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
Highlights include:
    • Support and continuous competency training provided by Children’s Hospital
    • Schedule includes 10- 24/7 unrestricted call per month as well as 24-hours of on-site coverage to support continued competency per month at Children’s Hospital
    • Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed

25-bed critical access hospital, which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in six counties.
