Job Responsibilities

• Working in our Doan lab that gets specimens from our University Hospital OR--mostly benign lesions (95%) with some colon cancer resections and native livers.
• Some procurement for research, selecting tissue from POCs for karyotyping and biopsy grossing when staffing requires it.
• Depending on workload volumes, some cancer cases from another lab could be sent to Doan to be grossed, but the temp PA could focus on benign cases and biopsies.

Qualifications

• Required :
- The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - Pathologists' Assistant (PA) certification
- National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) required
- OH license required
- One year experience required
- Academic facility experience preferred

Working Hours

Schedule: M-F 9:30a-6p
