**NP/PA Pain Management opening in Wyoming** * Located in ***Afton, WY*** - just 100 miles from Idaho Falls, ID! * Full-time, permanent opening * Orthopedic training and skills required. * This is an at-will position. Searching for a Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing healthcare in a small-town setting to join our Pain Management Clinic. Enjoy the security and support of belonging to an established healthcare system, while also enjoying the autonomy of being at a satellite clinic. This position will be crucial with direct patient care assisting Orthopedic Surgeons. This would include doing clinic and surgery assists in Star Valley as well as outlying communities. Perform daily patient care tasks in a clinic, surgical, ER, and inpatient settings. Abilities & Skills: - Clear understanding of orthopedic/pain management diagnosis and treatment - Perform pain management examinations using standard medical procedures - Skills necessary to assist surgeons in Operating Rooms - Make administrative and procedural decisions - Knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in area of expertise - Proficient oral and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Maintain skills through training provided as well as self-study - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively, and demonstration of sensitivity to patients, visitors and staff - Comply with HIPAA and other federal, state and local regulations as well as maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in client and staff matters - Excellent organization and prioritization aptitude - Moderate physical activity including standing, walking, pushing, bending and reaching throughout the work day - Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds - Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of personal protective equipment - Ability to use an Electronic Medical Record Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
