SSM Health Monroe Clinic, is seeking a full-time (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join our Otolaryngology department. This department is well-established, and this role will collaborate with two of our physicians including one provider who has been in the practice 30 years. The Otolaryngology department consists of physicians, an RN, LPN and MA, all collaborating in a supportive environment.

Opportunity:

  • Ideally, candidate will be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Otolaryngology experience
  • We will consider new graduates with specific clinical rotation experience or electives in Otolaryngology
  • Outpatient focused practice with inpatient rounding
  • Flexible schedule of 4-5 days per week depending on FTE with anticipated work hours of 8am-5pm
  • Anticipated clinical volume of 15-18 patients per day and 1-2 inpatients per week
  • No Call and No Weekends
  • Referrals come from Primary Care, various specialties within Monroe Clinic, as well as other surrounding healthcare facilities.
  • Full compliment of specialty services in Monroe as well as regional support

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Wisconsin registered nurse license and Wisconsin advanced practice nurse prescriber licensure or Wisconsin physician assistant licensure
  • Wisconsin DEA (active unrestricted)
  • Potential requirement for Illinois licensure and Illinois DEA for future coverage at our Illinois facility
  • Prefer experience but will consider a new graduate with focused training in Otolaryngology
