We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Pediatric Transplant team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is one of the largest liver transplant centers in the nation, with more than 100 transplants a year. We transplant patients faster than any other center in the region.

The ideal candidate will have previous transplant experience.

Job Responsibilities

This role will include direct patient care, admissions, assessing, diagnosing, interpreting diagnostic information, discharge planning and post-operative care.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Education/Training
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience
- License/Certification/Registration
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.

Working Hours

This provider will work full-time, 10 hr. shifts including holidays and weekends.
