We are hiring Orthopedics Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for a locum assignment for ongoing coverage!
Job details:
- Start: As soon as credentialled
- Schedule: 4/10hr shifts per week (630a-5p) w 30min lunch break
- Required Skills/Procedures:
• Performs physical examinations, and special examinations
• Takes medical histories; develops plans of care; intervenes in crisis situations or patient deterioration • Provides routine and illness care; orders medications; orders diagnostic tests and evaluates results
• Assumes responsibility for patient follow-up, coordination, and referrals to other health care providers as necessary
• Maintains patient health information records
• May develop policies/procedures; participates in or designs changes in the system of care delivery
• May participate in clinical research
• Provides patient counseling/education
• Participates in medical student and health professional teaching
• Acts as a clinical consultant to peers and other health care professionals
• Assist with surgeries as first assist
• Performs related duties as required.
- Patients a day: 5 - 15
- EMR: EPIC
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification
- CT license
- DEA
- ACLS, BLS
- 2 years Orthopedics Experience
- Clean Malpractice
