Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of an orthotist or prosthetist, assists with patient care tasks assigned by the orthotist or prosthetist.

Job Duties

  • The below will be performed under direct supervision of an orthotist or prosthetist:
    • Participates in the implementation of the treatment plan provided.
    • Applies off the shelf orthotic devices to patients as ordered by the provider.
    • can provide minimal adjustment (as defined by CMS as an adjustment of the orthotic that the beneficiary, caretaker for the beneficiary or supplier of the device can perform and does not require the professional service of an orthotist or prosthetist) of the prefabricated orthosis as necessary to align with the plan of care.
    • Provides instruction to the patient and family on proper use and care of the prefabricated orthosis as delegated by the orthotist or prosthetist.

Position Details

  • Hiring Incentive: This position qualifies for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

  • Hours: M-F (8am-4:30pm)
