Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50
This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts a week. Day + Night and Weekend call once monthly
- Hospital Setting
- Required procedures: digital blocks, regional anesthesia, minor outpatient surgical procedures, tendon repair, wound closure, wound management, wound debridement, incision and drainage, needle biopsy, percutaneous pinning of fractures, hardware removal, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, joint and bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, injections of joints, tendons, trigger points and bursa, as well as brace, cast and splint applications, assists in surgery, first assist, deep and superficial tissue closures, application of appliances, and any other action delegated by the surgeon, conducts hospital rounds, writes orders, and otherwise assists the Orthopedic surgeon.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days
