Responsibilities:

  • Work week is approximately 40 hours with clinic, OR, and administrative time.

  • Evaluate and treat patients with hip and knee arthritis

  • Assist in surgery

  • Perform preoperative evaluations, teaching, and documentation

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of California

  • Physician Assistant Certification

  • An individual Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license (Schedule II-V)

  • Clinical and surgical experience, including Orthopedic, Hip replacement surgery, Knee surgery

  • Demonstrated competency using EPIC electronic medical records systems
