Aspire Medical Staffing is looking for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to provide services at Langley AFB.
Location:
633rd MDG, Langley AFB, Hampton VA
Department: Orthopedic Surgery
Hours:
Monday through Friday 0730-1630, 0800-1700, 0815- 1715.
One rotational weekend a month.
Compensation:
- W2 Rate: $72.00/hour
- CME Reimbursement: $2,000 per year
- PTO: 80 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
- Sick Leave: 56 hours total annually (accrue hours per pay period)
- Federal Holidays Paid
1099 Rate: $92.00/hour- paid only for hours worked
Qualifications:
- Degree/Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Board Certification: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).
- Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
Duties:
- PAs in orthopedics perform histories and examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications and therapy. In addition to first assisting at surgery, procedures provided by PAs include tendon repairs, wound closures and debridements, injection of joints and fracture management.
