Ortho PA Locum Opportunity in Brooklyn, NY

• Negotiable hourly rate plus travel, lodging and medical malpractice (with tail).
• Physician Assistant - Day Shift, M-F.
• Schedule is flexible and may include: 3x12s and 4x10s.
• Some Call to include overnight and weekends on rotation (additional compensation provided for call).
• They will look at any amount of coverage, not limited to full-time hours.
• Inpatient bedside ED coverage in orthopedics.
• PA to backfill residents exiting the program.
• Must have ortho experience.
• Inpatient consults.
• ASAP start - 3 weeks to 1 month for credentialing.
• Privileges being granted for billing purposes are not a priority, they are looking for continuity of patient care above all else.
• Solo coverage – being called into a patient’s room to do consults. There is an attending physician on call at all times if the PA needs backup. The chief resident will be around too in addition to the regular ER/inpatient staff of the hospital.
