A health system in New York is seeking a skilled Oncology Advanced Care Provider to join their Cancer Center. This role focuses on providing expert, patient-centered care for oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases and ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, manage complex oncology cases, and participate in rounds and patient education.
- Outpatient: Manage oncology treatments, monitor therapy responses, and coordinate care with primary and specialty providers.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret tests, and perform procedures within the APRN scope of practice.
- Maintain compliance with policies, ensure accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- New York State licensed NP or PA.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Advanced Practice.
- 2+ years of oncology experience (no new grads).
