• Comprehensive Cancer Center with Medical and Radiation Oncology services
• QOPI certification and CoC accreditation
• Oncology Pharmacist and Infusion Center in the department
• Nurse Navigator, Case Management, Registered Dietician and Rehab Services support
• Close partnership with UNMC and collaborate to offer Genetic Counseling, Surgical Oncology and Thoracic Oncology Outreach clinics
• Patient population includes solid tumor oncology, also benign and malignant hematology, but we don’t manage induction chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant patients.
• Would assist with inpatient rounding—we are consulting service only, not admitting providers. Inpatient volume tends to be low at 1-4 cases/week.
• Typical APP patient load is 8-9/day while assisting with call. If not on call would typically see 9-11/day
