We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to employees, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. This role involves working closely with employers, employees, and other healthcare professionals to promote workplace health and safety.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough medical evaluations of employees, including pre-employment physicals, periodic health assessments, and fitness-for-duty examinations.
Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, providing appropriate medical care and follow-up.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including referrals to specialists as needed.
Collaborate with employers to design and implement workplace health and safety programs.
Provide education and counseling to employees on injury prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and workplace safety.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Participate in workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
Stay current with occupational health regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and guidelines.
Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
