Locums – Guttenberg, Iowa, NP/PA Occupational Medicine Clinical Role:

    • 10/14/24 – 12/13/24
    • 8-5 M-F, no weekends, no call
    • This is the sole provider in an occupational medicine clinic, seeing work comp cases, injured workers from the community and managing their care
    • A medical director is onsite once or twice a week as a level 2 provider overseeing cases who can support locum if scheduled the same dates as the locum
    • Setting: Clinic No Trauma/Not Rated
    • FTE: 1.0
    • Required Procedures/Job Duties: Preferred level 1 work comp certification. See injured workers and manage their care and referrals.
    • Most patients scheduled, walk ins are possible. Similar to an urgent care environment, most patients are muscular skeletal injuries, lacerations, etc.
    • EMR: Epic
    • Support Staff: MA
    • Reason for Coverage: medical leave
    • EMR Required Training:
      • Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
      • EMR Virtual training & Onsite training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual EMR training is schedule before the providers first day. If onsite training is required, it is typically looped into the morning of their first day.
    • Census: Patient population, Adult
    • Admissions, 12-14
    • Additional Info: Frisco is a beautiful place to be, especially if someone wants to be here for ski season.
    • ANCC/AANP or NCCPA Certified - Required
    • Active CO license - Required
    • Active BLS - Required for credentialing
    • Local, drive-in candidates - Highly Preferred
    • Clean MP/Background - Required
