A healthcare network in Indiana is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Occupational Medicine team in Indianapolis.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (Per Diem, maternity and/or vacation coverage)
  • Hours: 9am to 6pm
  • Setting: Occupational Medicine

Responsibilities:

The Occupational Medicine Physician will:

  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with medical model and standard of care
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting boards
  • Perform physical, mental status and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently reviewed and countersigned by Supervising Physician
  • Follow patient progress and make changes in treatment as necessary
  • Participate in business development, when requested, to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
  • IN Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Registration with National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Current CPR Registration
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in an Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ortho, and/or Urgent Care setting
